Guests may cancel their booking free of charge up to 7 days before the scheduled check-in date. Any payment made will be fully refunded to the original payment method.
❌ Late Cancellation (Within 14 Days of Check-In)
Cancellations made within 7 days of the scheduled arrival date will incur a 100% charge of the total booking amount. Refunds will not be available for shortened stays once this period begins.
🚫 No-Show Policy
If a guest fails to arrive without prior notice or cancellation, the full reservation amount will be charged and considered non-refundable.
2. Booking Modifications & Early Departures
📅 Date Changes
Changes to booking dates are permitted, subject to availability and may result in a rate adjustment based on the new dates. To request a modification, please contact our reservations team as early as possible.
🕓 Early Check-Outs
Guests who choose to depart earlier than their confirmed check-out date will not be eligible for a partial refund unless otherwise agreed in writing before arrival.
3. Peak Seasons & Special Event Periods
During peak travel dates, holidays, or citywide events, stricter cancellation policies may apply. These specific terms will be clearly displayed at the time of booking and stated in your confirmation email.
4. Cancellation by Marlex Apartments
In the unlikely event that we must cancel your booking (for example, due to property maintenance or unforeseen circumstances), guests will receive a full refund or be offered alternative accommodation of equal or higher standard where available.
5. Immediate Termination of Stay
Marlex Apartments reserves the right to terminate a stay without refund if any of the following occur:
- Non-Payment: Failure to settle outstanding balances by the due date.
- Overcrowding: Exceeding the maximum occupancy or allowing unregistered guests to stay.
- Disruptive Behaviour: Excessive noise, disturbances, or conduct deemed inappropriate by management or neighbouring residents.
- Unauthorised Events or Parties: Hosting parties or gatherings without prior written approval.
- Property Damage or Misuse: Intentional damage or violation of apartment rules and safety regulations.
In such cases, guests will be required to vacate the property immediately and may be held liable for any damages or losses incurred.
