Founder & Chief Executive

Marie Achebe founded MARLEX Apartments with a clear vision — to bring reliability, consistency, and professional standards to London's short-stay and serviced accommodation market.

Known across the UK as the "Airbnb Queen", Marie has built a six-figure short-term rental business from the ground up, managing 50+ properties across the UK through her own operations and those of her hosting students. Her approach combines automated systems, disciplined management, and genuine hospitality — the same principles MARLEX Apartments is built on.

Beyond running MARLEX, Marie is the founder of the Digital Property Boss Academy, where she teaches property investors and landlords how to scale rental operations without needing to own property. Her teaching philosophy — "not gatekeeping, just teaching" — is the same ethos that drives MARLEX's transparent, trust-first approach with every guest and partner.
